Convert Namco ND-1 driver to driver_device.

0.141u4: Further decoupled some driver files to help driver_device conversions : YGV608 is made independent of Namco ND-1 driver. Namco Classics Collection Vol.2 contains Pacman, Dig Dug and Rally-X.

MAMEInfo.dat entries: ncv2 and namcond1.cpp Use F2 to access the settings with normal directions and player 1 button 1 for selection and 1P start for exit.INP dump not relevant 0.136u4: Heihachi_73 changed description to 'Namco Classic Collection Vol.2'. There are many more points to be had before the end of the game, but I am happy just to 1CC this one :)Ġ.106-0.136: ncv2 - "Namco Classics Collection Vol.2"Ġ.136u4-0.175: ncv2 - "Namco Classic Collection Vol.2" I hope some real pac-masters take a good look at this title and see what they can do. Good thing the final prize spawned close to me (location is random just to make things even more interesting). Then the boss threw me a random variation at the end that gave me no time to react. They made me scramble and then some to finish that maze after that.

My usual end game pattern broke down with a variation I had not seen by those last orange ghosts.

Even with patterns there is plenty of free form play going on making for a really fun challenge. Even the starting patterns I use have to face ghost variations which are the big problem with the end boss maze and boss battle. I had hoped to pull a no death 1CC but that's tough on this tricky title that resists patterns (but not impossible). I settled for just 1600 points on some levels for all 4 ghosts versus 3200 points or more on higher levels if you let kinky power up all four (7650 I think it is). I even played this game a little safe on the early levels by not allowing the kinky ghost powerup where it made things tougher (like those twin ghost spirits). There's room for improvement on this since you can score higher by the time you get to the final boss maze, and you can get 100k for each free life left over on top of the endgame monster + fruit + end boss bonus. Here is the rest the text that got cut off from my submission above. I ran around beating up the ghosts for no reason using the dash but decided to keep playing and it was sure worth it! I almost quit the game when I died just after getting the elusive random free life bonus prize on such an early maze too. I was a little under my average score when I got to the end boss maze (440-460k), but I got the job done under pressure from another great gamer who I am sure will complete this one too and maybe even score higher. This may be the first 1 credit run on this obscure title. I would have had 100K more per extra life, so another 300k+ is possible if you 1cc no death and get the free life prize.

Added to that I got a hefty 482,000 bonus points for reaching the game on my last life plus all the ghosts/fruit I ate = 1,007,490 points total. After I finished that tricky maze and then beating the boss my end score was 525,490 points. I had 420,930 points when I reached the final boss maze. What a fun title! Thanks to those who voted it in for Yolympics this year.Īfter some great back and forth between myself and Nick666101 this past week I finally managed to finish the game. Only one attempt is allowed per INP, so please make note of this.] As an additional note, this game IS prone in Wolfmame 0.106 to randomly reset. When a new version records F2 usage properly, this message will be removed. Special Note: There is an issue in Wolfmame 0.106 and below where using F2 during the recording will botch it. This is a Single Player ONLY variation! Continues are NOT allowed! Special Rules: The above are the default internal settings for this title and need not be changed.
